Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Training

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Training

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Promoting and delivering Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Training is an essential aspect of good people management. Creating a culture, where all employees regardless of personal characteristics and backgrounds feel welcomed and able to contribute is good business.

Whilst the legal framework was set out in the 2010 Equalities Act and significant changes in the Employment Rights Act 2025/2026 an effective EDI strategy is wider and contributes to employee wellbeing. In an ever-changing world, an intersectional approach in areas such as accent, caring responsibilities, neurodiversity and gender identity and expression has gained greater emphasis. Managers need to navigate these changed perspectives and ensure their teams can too.
